Summer Shawl Contest 2012!

This is an opportunity for everyone to show off their summer knitting! Contestants will have their shawls displayed in the shop for two weeks and costumers will vote for their favorites. We only have 25 slots available so sign up soon!

The requirements:

Shawls must be made with a yarn we carry. That doesn't mean that you have to buy it from us, but please use a yarn we have in the shop so when other customers see your beautiful work, we can steer them in the right direction. Not sure if we carry the yarn? Give us a call! (208) 287-3693.

Shawls may be either knit or crochet

Shawls must be made using a a fingering (sock weight) yarn or lighter.

Only 25 participants may enter to compete (we don't have room in the shop for more than that!)

The Prizes:

First Prize wins a $75 Gift Certificate

Second Prize wins a $50 Gift Certificate

Third Prize wins a $25 Gift Certificate

All Shawls must be completed and dropped off at the shop by closing (6:00p) on Monday, July 30th.

Shawls will be displayed for nearly two weeks in the shop and voted on by costumers.

Saturday, August 11th we will hold an after hours party from 6:00p-7:30p for all contestants and announce the winners of the contest. Contestants are not required to attend the party, but your shawl needs to be there!
